We promote self drive tours, but it is often felt that whilst this option gives you flexibility regarding time constrainsts of a guided tour, it is a poor substitute for the information and knowledge passed on by the tour guides. Not only do they have trained eyes for spotting wildlife, but they also have local knowledge regarding: animal identification, local history, vegetation, local culture and plenty of local stories to round off a great tour. A popular option is to enjoy a morning guided tour and a self drive trip in the afternoon, as your park fees are covered for the entire day and you have developed a feel for The Addo Elephant National Park.

Both guides are accomplished photographers and as such will help you capture your memories of your Addo adventure from up close and at the right angles They are always on the lookout for the perfect shot.
